Supply Chain Coordinator - Milwaukee, WI

Job Duties:

  • Assists Managers, Supervisors, and Technicians with various technical and administrative tasks.
  • Assist sales team with planning, scheduling, and coordinating Technicians for services trips, quoting parts jobs, and other related tasks.
  • Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production.
  • Assist the Vice President and Finance Manager with managing the company’s inventory, including maintaining appropriate inventory levels, ordering materials, and other related tasks.
  • Assist during the production process daily, performing numerous tasks as needed including distributing production schedules, coordinating between departments, reviewing staffing tables, and ensuring adequate material availability.
  • Gather and record relevant production data.
  • Clean and maintain production area daily according to established safety ordinances and documented standards. 
  • Communicate with vendors, management personnel, customers, and technical experts as necessary to coordinate production and shipping activities and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Report on the production status and any production issues to management.
  • Find ways to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Expedite overall production during every shift by managing shipping/receiving of materials, distribution of supplies, assembly of new equipment, and completion of repairs when necessary.
  • Such other and further duties as assigned by the company’s President or Vice President.

Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a production assistant, buyer, inventory specialist, and/or production planner preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to squat, kneel and crawl to service equipment from below
  • Must be able to bend and twist with torque to service equipment and to reach into awkward areas
  • Must be able to climb stairs, ladders and or steps to get up onto equipment
  • Must be able to work below, at, and above shoulder level to maintain equipment
  • Required to push, pull reach and grasp with hands to use hand tools 
  • Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds individually or up to 100 lbs. in a two man lift
